Sustainable agriculture & Community Development

Our projects are targeted at promoting different ways through which rural communities in the Adaklu Anyigbe District can help shape and influence local level development decisions and policies. We do this by empowering local farmers with skills relevant for their effective functioning such as through local level advocacy and lobby.

We work closely with local authorities including traditional and opinion leaders in the district. By highlighting the need for local priorities to be at the center of all community development programmes, ADICODE works to empower local communities and to ensure that our projects are contributing to larger goals of community development.

ADICODE creates and fosters rural agricultural entrepreneurship

The need to work towards achieving food security and promote agricultural entrepreneurship helps us to design special programs that can help meet these goals. You can invite ADICODE to train your or your farmers group in basic farming techniques including specialised skills such as nursery management, how to use drip irrigation technology and other dry season farming techniques. ADICODE also provides other technical services in the area of how to set up a campaign (strategy) and we renti out basic farm equipments at very reduced costs. Our demonstrration farm sites are also open to school groups and associations interested in improving on relevant agricultural skills.
